ESA pavilion at Paris Air Show 2007
The Brief:
- To create a high-impact Pavilion that would demonstrate the breadth and scope of the ESA's activities and how they affect daily life on earth.
- As a preferred supplier, Cook & Associates was invited to design the impressive 500 square-metre double-deck, focusing on a large exhibit area on the ground floor, plus a comprehensively fitted-out top deck complete with offices, conference rooms and hospitality areas catering for up to 40 people.
The Result:
- Cook & Associates' design majored on an eye-catching LED wall, positioned at the front of the Pavilion as the initial visitor draw.
- Once inside the blacked-out Pavilion, visitors were taken on an exciting journey through space, illustrating the ESA’s range of initiatives and programmes.
- This was created with custom-designed Mars and Luna landscapes, state of the art plasma displays that delivered high definition, seamless images, plus interactive workstations and a fully-equipped theatre area.
