Work

Last month we completed our 19th year at EBACE, held at the magnificent Palexpo in Geneva. This premier event is the annual meeting place for the European business aviation community, bringing together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers and other business aviation professionals. Over the course of 3 days, EBACE played host to over 400 exhibitors and 13,000 attendees from around the world. This global event provides the perfect platform for aerospace giants to showcase their products and services with impact, our clients included.

At Cook and Associates, we always take a client-centric approach and we have always been dedicated to producing high-quality results for our clients. Supporting them with a range of aspects from design and production to show support and full life cycle management. The focus of this year’s event was on combining exciting technology with welcoming visitor experiences. Through creative layouts and immersive technology, accompanied by high impact static displays.

For years, exhibitors at EBACE have been traditional in their approach to engaging with the 13,000 business aviation professionals. The past has seen many businesses opt to demonstrate their products and services via physical product display areas or information led talks on the exhibit. However, this year we incorporated a state-of-the-art product demonstration area for Europe’s leading general aviation manufacturing company. The area we created for our client consisted of two immersive technology offerings, a bespoke object recognition table and interactive touch wall. Positioned below a high impact LED display, and as a key focal point to attracting the passers-by were two object recognition tables. Coded objects corresponding to each of the aircraft on the outdoor static display, could be placed onto the recognition table by delegates to visually display information on an aircraft of their choice.

Large Stand with tech

This installation of the interactive touch wall screens was a big feature on the stand, similar to the object recognition table, the aim was to encourage delegates to engage and understand the brand. The screens were integrated with our client’s custom-built aircraft design software allowing up to three delegates at a time to design their own aircraft, customise the exterior design, colour scheme, interior finish, etc. Once the delegates completed their designs, an automatic email was then distributed straight to their inbox, continuing the relationship between our client and their delegates. The technology acted as the perfect first port of call for audience interaction before heading over to their 2,871 sqm outdoor static display and provided our client with key metrics to analyse their event ROI. Focusing on engagement time, delegate data collection, main touchpoints, user experience and the visitor journey following on from the technology interaction.

This year, Cook and Associates also partnered with 4 other aviation giants. Long-term client Qatar Airways business jet subsidiary, Qatar Executive, commemorated their 10 years of operation following their announcement of the formation at the 2009 Paris Airshow. Their luxury jet services are comprised of Global 5000s, Global XRS, Challenger 605s, Gulfstream G650ER and Gulfstream G500 with plans to expand later this year. This meant their stand at Ebace this year had to be a true reflection of the high standard and quality of their business practice to allow igniting brand conversation. Check it out:

We also had the pleasure of working alongside AVFUEL, Jetcraft and show organisers MEBAA at EBACE this year:
