Work

Southampton International Boat Show, Britain’s biggest boat show, celebrated it’s 50th anniversary this year. As our 3rd year at the event, we were more than honoured to be partnering with two of our clients at the top of the marine industry.

MDL Marinas, owner and operator of 14 marinas around the UK, a customer experience that reflected their company quality. From the beginning of the design process, we focused on creating a relaxing and elegant environment to welcome new and existing customers to the chalet. Maximising the stunning view over the marina with an outdoor balcony and floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with light, bringing the outdoors in. With a spotlight on hospitality, a complimentary bar allowed delegates to enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Fresh artwork, MDL branding and stand attraction games bought the space to life as delegates were challenged to tie a knot and ring a bell in the fastest time to win a SUP lesson and a lunch.

With MDL’s company environmental efforts becoming ever-increasing we ensured their stand at Southampton International Boat Show was environmentally friendly. We installed recycling facilities into their chalet to help them meet their objectives and their commitment to the environment.

This was our first year working with ARGO Yachting and Chris-Craft, and what a great success. We designed and delivered a new concept at this year’s event to showcase an impressive display of the Launch 28 GT, one of the most recent additions to its fleet. A raised platform facing the marina gave access to the boat for delegates to explore. We cleverly designed the space to incorporate hospitality and discussion areas as well as a private meeting room. Double-sided custom totems held information for delegates to read and seamless corporate branding throughout brought the stand together for both companies.

After a successful week in the sun, we look forward to Southampton International Boat Show 2020 and our future working within the marine and boating industry.
