Our 20-year relationship with Crane Aerospace & Electronics continued with a space designed for valued conversations to take place. “Meetings are of the essence!” and with the key players in the global aviation industry in attendance it was important that the exhibit reflected that. From the exhibit approach visitors were welcomed by a free-flowing product demonstration area, eventually funnelling through to the meeting space.

Last month we completed our 19th year at EBACE, held at the magnificent Palexpo in Geneva. This premier event is the annual meeting place for the European business aviation community, bringing together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers and other business aviation professionals. Over the course of 3 days, EBACE played host to over 400 exhibitors and 13,000 attendees from around the world. This global event provided the perfect platform for our 5 clients to showcase their products and services with impactful exhibits.
The team have been dedicated to producing high quality results for our long-standing clients. Supporting them with a range of aspects from design and production to show support and full life cycle management. The focus of this year’s exhibits was on combining exciting and welcoming visitor experiences, through creative layouts and immersive technology, accompanied by high impact static displays.

Following on from a successful show at ITB 2018, when we delivered an exhibit to launch Qatar Airways revolutionary Business Class product, Qsuite. We returned once again for the annual event held at the Messe Berlin. ITB is the world’s leading travel trade show, playing host to over 160,000 visitors throughout the five days and over 10,000 exhibitors, which represent more than 180 countries.

Barcelona, a destination with rich Catalonian culture, expansive city views and home to the largest mobile event in the world, MWC Barcelona (formerly Mobile World Congress). The theme of this year’s event was ‘Intelligent Connectivity’, with more than 2,400 companies showcasing their product and service solutions. Focusing on the challenges and opportunities the fully connected, intelligent world brings to society at this year’s event were our global technology clients; Nexign, Sequans Communications and ESET. Throughout the preparation for this landmark event, we worked closely with our clients to implement solutions to meet their visions. Additionally, we looked to express some of the core themes of digital trust, immersive content, digital wellness and the future of ‘Intelligent Connectivity’, within the exhibits.

With the growth of Cook & Associates at an all-time high and our continued expansion of the team, a key objective for 2019 is to increase our presence in new markets.
Earlier this month Client Relationship Manager, Abbie Wheatley, delivered our first project at the Recruitment Agency Expo. This event is the UK’s biggest trade-only expo dedicated to recruitment agencies, which was held at Olympia, London. We designed and built an engaging exhibit for our new client ETZ Payments. ETZ is recruitment back office software designed to reduce paperwork and streamline the back-office procedure.
Since 2012 Cook & Associates have rolled out successful Apprenticeship programmes in all departments. It provides the perfect platform for young talent to work closely with an experienced team in Design, Sales, Marketing or Operations.
Jamie Williams, Design Director at Cook & Associates says: “Not only do they get valuable hands-on work experience, but they also attend college to gain qualifications in their chosen fields. We are pleased to say that all five apprentices have grown into full time roles and become accomplished in their skill set.”
Christmas is just around the corner and with 2018 drawing to an end, we want to reflect back on what’s been a fantastic year. Plus, as the team continues to expand and develop, we’re looking forward to working on exciting projects in 2019.
