2012 marked an important transition for leading protective soldier solution company, Revision Military. As a highly innovative smaller company, Revision Military felt the time was right to adopt a higher profile footprint on the international exhibition stage. This involved electing to work with a new exhibition management company, bringing into play a large custom booth and strong brand message for Revision Military’s show activity outside of North America.
Marketing Events & Public Relations Manager, Kelly Goudy, takes up the story:
“At Eurosatory 2012 in Paris, we started to look for a European-based partner to complement our domestic relationship, as we had already established a large booth design for the North American market. Our priorities were to maximise as much of our existing inventory as appropriate, while achieving cost-efficiencies from local manufacture and storage, albeit without compromising the impact of our show presence. We met Tom Hawes from Cook & Associates for the first time at the show, and were really impressed by their overall professionalism and approach, deciding to work with them on a trial basis. They did an amazing job in reproducing our existing stand design at IDEX in Abu Dhabi, demonstrating how we could improve our booth and achieve much better value by using a local team. “Two years on and we have built up a great relationship – they adopt a well-organised, tactical approach, are superb at communicating, and put their very best people on the front line. Quite simply, they deliver flawlessly for us every show, and I can rely on them 100% without having to be there myself to supervise. If there is a problem, they solve it – for example, during the first European pre-build of our stand, the kit was missing dozens of components due to come in from overseas. They came up with temporary solutions to make the stand work for the show and only then told me of the challenges they had faced! The service we receive is quite simply priceless.”
Cook & Associates’ brief for Revision Military is to deliver what is essentially the same stand anywhere in the world, outside of North America, working cost-effectively with a combination of local build and re-usable stands as appropriate. Key events on the calendar include Eurosatory and Milipol in Paris, DSEi in London and IDEX in the UAE.
