This year the Southampton International Boat Show celebrated over 50 years as Britain’s biggest boat show with over 600 exhibitors and over 300 boats on display. We worked with two clients this year including a hospitality chalet for MDL Marinas and a stand featuring a stunning static boat display for ARGO Yachting in conjunction with Chris-Craft.
We worked with our client MDL Marinas for a third year to develop an inviting hospitality chalet for them to welcome new and existing customers. With fresh new artwork, strong branding throughout and several large lounge areas both inside and out with stunning views over the marina, this chalet was rejuvenated.
Our team focused on creating a relaxing and beautiful area to enhance MDL Marinas customers experience. Inside, all guests were kept entertained from a complimentary bar to a fun competition where customers skills were put to the test. The competition was to tie a knot and ring a bell in the fastest time for the chance to win a SUP lesson and a lunch.
A great part of the brief was to reduce their environmental impact at Southampton International Boat Show 2019. We installed recycling facilities into their chalet to help them meet their objectives and their commitment to the environment.
This was our first year working with ARGO Yachting and Chris-Craft, and what a great success. We designed and delivered a new concept at this year’s event to showcase an impressive display of the Launch 28 GT, one of the most recent additions to its fleet. A raised platform facing the marina gave access to the boat for delegates to explore. We cleverly designed the space to incorporate hospitality and discussion areas as well as a private meeting room. Double sided custom totems held information for delegates to read and seamless corporate branding throughout brought the stand together for both companies.
