Syensqo stepped into the spotlight at K-Show 2025 under its newly established identity – and with a bold mission to redefine what’s possible in advanced materials.

After its spin-off from Solvay in December 2023, Syensqo draws on a heritage spanning over 160 years of scientific innovation to present a refreshed portfolio and a future-forward narrative. For K-Show 2025, Cook + Associates were appointed to bring that vision to life – designing and delivering a space that moved beyond product display to storytelling, engagement, and impact.

Experience-First Engagement

Located in a premium position in Hall 6, the stand was designed with experience at its core. The environment supported interaction, exploration and technical dialogue, underpinned by an open, confident, and architecturally expressive design. The radial layout encouraged strong visibility from multiple aisles and guided visitors naturally through the space, whilst sight-lines and spatial zoning were used to distinguish the four core narrative themes – electrification, circularity, digitalisation and life-enhancing innovation – ensuring the story unfolded intuitively.

Dedicated showcase areas presented material applications in context, while spaces for demonstrations and discussions allowed teams to connect directly with visitors. Content-driven detailing helped reinforce messaging around innovation and sustainability, presenting Syensqo’s portfolio in a compelling, accessible way. Embedded meeting and collaboration spaces were positioned to transition seamlessly from informal conversations to in-depth discussion, reflecting the needs of Syensqo’s programme across the show.

Spaces with Double Purpose

A highlight of the Syensqo stand was its adaptable, double-purpose space. One of the key requirements was the ability to host panels, presentations, and talks for visitors and the world’s media, without permanently dedicating space and losing valuable product showcase and hospitality areas. So, our solution was to dedicate an adaptable space that, when not in use for formal events, functioned as informal meeting areas and played looping brand videos. When needed, it seamlessly transformed into a stage for TED-style talks, on-stage presentations, and media sessions

A Confident Debut for a New Brand

For Syensqo, K-Show 2025 marked more than a trade show – it was a statement of intent. Their presence signalled innovation leadership, credibility and a clear forward direction in speciality polymers. For Cook + Associates, the project represented an opportunity to translate a complex, emerging brand narrative into a physical space that felt both strategic and human. The stand balanced presence with purpose, and delivered a confident, future-facing introduction for Syensqo on one of the industry’s biggest stages.
